COVID-19 Update
Due to recent events surrounding the current COVID-19 pandemic, we would like to reassure you that we are still operating business as usual, including all collections and processing of your waste at all our sites.
As this crisis is developing daily, we are closely monitoring current government guidelines and advice given from the World Health Organisation. Should the situation escalate we shall immediately review our current plans. We will update any changes daily and post them on our website https://www.remondis-uk.com/ as well as on Linked In.
We have taken the situation very seriously here at Remondis and have put measurements in place to reduce the amount of staff that we have in our offices by allowing staff to work from home where practical.
Our main concern is the health and wellbeing of both our staff and customers, and we want to assure you that we are doing everything possible to protect our staff members and still provide customers with the necessary service that is required.
The following precautions have been implemented until further notice:
- Non-essential contact – Drivers will no longer request the customer to sign for work completed. Instead they will ask for your details and enter these themselves on their tablet.
- All non-essential meetings have been cancelled and where necessary held by tele conference facilities.
- Very regular reminders to staff and visitors with regards to increased cleaning regimes and following hand washing protocols.
- Sales staff are working from their respective home offices and avoiding ‘face to face’ meetings.
- All senior staff have access to conferencing tools to avoid face to face meetings and these are our preferred method of communication where practical at this moment in time.
- We are sending all invoices electronically as our finance team are now working from home and to stop the risk of infection by posting paperwork – please support us with this.
- We are stopping any cash collections – facilities are in place to pay by credit/debit card.
- We are working with our suppliers and partners to maintain supply of product and have increased stock levels where possible to reduce the disruption to supply as this situation develops.
If sites have room for additional skips / bins we will look at supplying them to ease the necessity for same day collections.
These are unprecedented times, but rest assured that we are doing everything possible to keep the business running as usual and continuing to provide customers with the support that they need.
We would ask that you stay within your agreed credit limit and pay us on time to allow us to support you.
