Glass Waste – 240, 360, 660 & 1100 Ltr options
Glass is completely recyclable and saves precious energy resources. Your recycled glass will be made into new beverage bottles, insulation and other construction materials.

What can’t go in a Glass waste bin?
- Window glass
- Light bulbs
- Lids, bottle tops and corks
Top tip: Please rinse glass items and remove lids, tops and corks before placing in the glass bin.
Cardboard Bins – Sizes: 240, 360, 660 & 1100 & FEL
What Can Go In?
- Clean cardboard packaging sheets & boxes
- Cereal boxes
- All materials must be dry and free from contamination
What can’t go in a Cardboard bin?
Plastic & polystyrene packaging
Liquids & food waste
Top tip: Flatten your cardboard boxes – this way you get more in your bin and you ensure that you have
removed any other packaging such as plastic bags and polystyrene
Dry Mixed Recyclable Waste (DMR) – 240, 360, 660 & 1100 Ltr options
What can go in a DMR waste bin?
- Paper – any dry paper waste such as newspapers, office paper and magazines
- Cardboard – corrugated cardboard, cereal boxes and card
- Metal cans – empty drink cans, rinsed out food tins
- Plastic – rinsed out milk bottles, clean plastic containers
Please note: Only clear bags should be used for recyclable waste
What can’t go in a DMR waste bin?
- No contaminated recyclables – such as meat packaging etc
- Plastic film – such as cling film, bubble wrap, packaging etc
- Green waste
- Personal hygiene products
- Medical waste
- Any hazardous waste such as paint, oils etc
- No Food waste
- No Liquids
- Animal waste
Polystyrene – As polystyrene is a very low-grade recyclable it would be more cost effective to put it in your general waste bin as it takes up a large amount of room and is very light.
Top tip: Flatten your cardboard boxes, tins, cans or plastics and fold any paper – it will take up less space in your bin.

What can go in a Food waste bin?
- Fruit and vegetables
- Food scraps Bread, rice, pasta, etc.
- Cooked and uncooked fish & meat Small bones – chicken, pork, etc.

- Plastic & Polystyrene
- Yoghurt Pots
- Plastic or glass bottles
- Cellophane wrapping, Cling film, Food wrappers, Plastic bags (except to contain the food as below)
- Metal Cutlery, Tin foil, Cans or tins
- Drinks cartons, Liquids and oils
- Floor sweepings
Top tip: It’s best to bag food waste in clear or transparent plastic liners – (need not be compostable or biodegradable) – before putting it into the bin. This helps keep the bin clean and avoid food waste sticking inside it.
240 litre 2 wheeled bin
This bin is perfect for businesses with low waste output. It measures H1079 x W583 x D737 750mm. It is designed to safely contain general waste, mixed recycling material, glass, food waste, compacted industrial and commercial waste.
This bin holds between 5 and 7 standard general waste black bin bags with a typical average waste weight of 17kg
360 litre 2 wheeled bin
Our largest 2 wheeled bin measures H1112 x W585 x D880mm. It is designed for general waste, mixed recycling material, glass, compacted industrial and commercial waste.
This bin holds between 7 and 9 standard general waste black bin bags with a typical average weight of 26kg
660 litre 4 wheeled bin
This heavy duty/reinforced bin measures H1213 x W1373 x D780mm and has 4 rubber tyre castors with wheel locks which prevents unwanted movement. It is designed for general waste, mixed recycling material, glass, compacted industrial and commercial waste and holds between 13 to 16 standard general waste black bin bags totaling an average weight of 48 kg
1100 litre 4 wheeled bin
Our largest 4 wheeled heavy duty/reinforced bin, measures H1354 x W1373 x D1073mm, has 4 rubber tyre castors with wheel locks preventing unwanted movement. It is designed for general waste. Mixed recycling material, glass, compacted industrial and commercial waste and holds between 20 to 25 standard general waste black bin bags totaling an average weight of 80KG
8 Yard Rear End Loader Container
REMONDIS Rear End Loader containers measure 2675L x 1950W x 1780 mm with a volume of 6.3 cubic metres or 8 cubic yards.
The loading height is 1240mm and it can hold waste weights up to 750kg.
It is designed to contain general waste, dry mixed recycling and compacted industrial and commercial waste.
